Since joining KPMG in 2002, I have worked in international corporate taxation, providing advice to multinationals. My work covers international, European and domestic tax issues, extending to direct and indirect taxation. I have advised on the tax implications of trusts and foundations, and over the past three years I have also delved into tax aspects of digital assets and blockchain. Turning to compliance, at KPMG I set up the teams on tax reporting, from AEOI to CRS. I lead the Tax Committee at the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners, providing feedback on proposed legislation to Government authorities, such as fiscal consolidation and transfer pricing.
