Pendergardens Developments plc has unveiled its appointment of Ernest de Bono as its new chief operating officer, with effect from 4th October 2021.

He will bring to the role experience spanning over two decades in the construction industry, as well as a strong educational foundation, established by his B.Sc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying from Reading University in the UK.

Throughout his career he has worked directly with architects, designers, contractors, and investors, overseeing some of Malta’s “most prominent buildings to date.”

He joined the Pendergardens Project in 2007, where, among other responsibilities, he headed the employer’s cost management team.

Due to his experience and deep knowledge of the project, Pendergardens explains he was considered to be the best candidate to assume the post.

Pendergardens is a publicly listed property development company.

Its operations are focused around a self-contained development in St Julian’s, which includes high-rise block Pendergardens Tower, as well as a number of other buildings.
