Edmond Bonett has taken on a new role at Corinthia Caterers, having recently been appointed General Manager (GM).

While he made the announcement on Wednesday, he has been occupying the role since last January. Prior to his newest role, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the company for nine months.

Speaking to WhosWho.mt on his appointment, Mr Bonett said that he is happy that it is now confirmed and official.

“I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to what lies ahead with the right motivation and enthusiasm,” he said.

Mr Bonett remarked that Corinthia Caterers’ achievements over the years has been down to the input and contribution on everyone in the team.

He also expressed gratitude to Corinthia Caterers’ previous CEO, who had hand-picked him last year to second him as COO at the time. “It is through him that I have had the opportunity to join Corinthia Caterers and Corinthia Group,” Mr Bonett added.

Mr Bonett said that his family is also “an integral and crucial part” of him that indirectly ties into whatever he does, and so he is grateful for their unwavering support.

“A final thank you to the Chairman and the Board of Directors for entrusting me with this responsibility which I am determined to keep repaying in ongoing tangible results,” he continued

Mr Bonett is a seasoned hospitality and catering industry professional, with over 25 years of experience working at local and international hotels and restaurants.

Prior to joining Corinthia Caterers, he served as Group GM at Manouche Craft Bakery & Bistro for almost two years. When he announced his departure, Mr Bonett had said that he is leaving Manouche “quite different” from how he had found it.
