On Monday (today), the Malta Business Bureau (MBB) announced that it has appointed Gabriel Cassar as its Head of Projects and Sustainability.
Mr Cassar will be leading the projects team and overseeing all projects, ensuring they align with the MBB’s objectives.
Commenting on his appointment, he expressed his excitement about stepping into the new role.
He noted that, over the years, the MBB’s projects arm has grown remarkably, and he plans to build on this foundation.
“My focus will especially be to strengthen the link between projects and our EU policy priorities, ensuring that the MBB provides real value to the Maltese business community. I’m grateful to the MBB board, CEO, and team for their trust and support,” he continued.
MBB expressed confidence in his leadership and that it will “continue to drive” its initiatives forward and create positive impacts.
Mr Cassar joined the MBB as an intern in 2017 and transitioned to a full-time role one year later. Throughout his time at the bureau, he contributed to both its EU projects and policy departments.
At the MBB, he is also tasked with managing its portfolio of EU sustainability legislation, supporting businesses in understanding and adapting to regulatory requirements.
Mr Cassar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies (Hons) with Philosophy and a Master of Arts in European Politics, Economics and Law from the University of Malta.
