Malta-based AI virtual agent company EBO has unveiled the latest stage of its UK expansion: the appointment of a new Senior Healthcare Consultant in the form of Neil Taylor.
The company explains that virtually every aspect of modern life has been “radically” reshaped by innovation and technology – and that healthcare is no exception to this.
EBO’s growth in the UK was kickstarted last August when the company appointed Paul Boland as its Healthcare Director.
The latest appointment is expected to bring to bear in the role his long history of successes in the improvement of theatre utilisation and throughput, capacity planning and improved waiting times, as well as clinical productivity and reporting for imaging.
He has also tackled the reduction of lengths of stay, better bed management and improved access to services, all of which have reduced costs for community, mental health, and social care services.
Over 25 years working in the healthcare industry, he has worked across every aspect of care provision and commissioning, delivering extensive, quantifiable, and sustainable improvements in the cost, quality, and performance of patient care.
Most recently, Mr Taylor worked for Meridian Productivity Ltd, a firm of productivity specialists working primarily with healthcare and public sector clients in the UK and Ireland. He is also a Master Productivity Specialist within the Association of Productivity Specialists (APS).
Addressing his appointment, he commented: “I am really excited about working together with the EBO team to support patient self-management.
“It is great to be part of a truly innovative AI solution which will contribute to the transformation of UK healthcare and improve patient and staff experience and wellbeing.”
