The deadline for this year’s eBusiness Awards, currently in their milestone 10th edition, is fast approaching, with Sunday 12th September the last chance to submit nominations to one of the nine award categories.

First organised in 2011, for 10 years the awards have been a prestigious endorsement of Maltese success in delivering projects, initiatives, solutions and other innovative achievements in the digital realm, and serve as an opportunity for local tech companies to showcase their work.

Previously organised by the Malta Communications Authority (MCA), the awards have since 2019 been organised by Tech.mt, the public-private partnership between the Government of Malta and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry set up to help companies export their information and communications technology beyond the country’s shores.

Tech.mt took to LinkedIn to celebrate the occasion, noting that it “marks the tenth-year anniversary of the renowned eBusiness Awards”.

The organisation said that the awards “seek to recognise and celebrate the best of Maltese talent, ambition, and achievement in multiple categories for our digital ecosystem.”

Interested parties can both nominate others for any of the awards as well as submit their own project, product or initiative

This year’s nine categories, each with its own eligibility and adjudication criteria, are:

1. Best Tech Start Up
2. Best eCommerce Site (B2C)
3. Best Social Media Campaign
4. Best eGovernment Initiative
5. Best Cloud Based Solution as a Service
6. Best App
