db Group, one of Malta’s leading hospitality groups, has officially opened its first international outpost of Aki in London.
The restaurant, located at One Cavendish Square, follows the success of Aki Valletta, which has become a popular dining destination in Malta’s capital since opening.
The expansion marks db Group’s entry into the United Kingdom (UK) hospitality market, now officially now open and welcoming guests for lunch, dinner, and cocktails.
Malta’s restaurant scene has gained increasing international recognition in recent years, with several establishments featured in the Michelin Guide.
The launch was inaugurated by Prime Minister Robert Abela during a visit to the UK, who underlined the restaurant’s role in showcasing Maltese hospitality abroad.
He said the opening of Aki London reflects both the strength of Malta’s culinary industry and its potential for global growth.
db group also runs several restaurants across the island including Westreme, Amami, Blu Beach, Nine Lives, LOA, Sonora, and the Amami Food Bar at the University of Malta campus. Additionally, it operates under the Hard Rock Café and Starbucks franchises in Malta.
