Christian Peregin has joined branding and storytelling agency Blonde and Giant in its mission to help global start-ups fundraise to success.

Mr Peregin, who leads the firm’s Start-up Services department, began his career as a journalist for Malta’s leading newspaper Times of Malta. In 2016, he founded his own new-media start-up Lovin Malta, from which he exited last year to pursue a brief stint in politics.

Blonde and Giant is a leading firm offering start-ups, scaleups and VC funds a range of services including investor narratives, pitching strategy, pitch deck design, media training, PR, branding and various other strategic and creative services.

“This new role brings together my passion for storytelling with the chance to help start-ups find the financing they need to scale their ideas and make big changes to our shared future,” Mr Peregin said.

In just the last two years, Blonde and Giant pitch decks have helped over sixty global start-ups and funds raise over €1.2 billion in various investment rounds.

In four years, Blonde and Giant has already become the firm of choice for start-ups and VC funds based across Europe and North America, with a special emphasis on Berlin, San Francisco and New York. Some top client successes include grocery unicorn Flink (raised €202m, now valued at €4.8bn), Mondu (raised €17m, now valued at €250m), Finom (raised €12m, now valued at €70m), and Wanna (acquired by fashion unicorn FarFetch).

Blonde and Giant also offers an investor accelerator programme to Maltese family offices who wish to invest in global start-ups but do not have a path to access the best deals.

Blonde and Giant was founded by Beppe Coleiro and Mark Galea.
