Following its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 27th of February 2025, the Chamber of Engineers held its first Council Meeting for the term 2025-2026 on Wednesday 5th March 2025.
Following the first council meeting, the Executive Council for the term 2025-2026 shall consist of the following:
- Dr Inġ. Bonnie Attard – President
- Inġ. David Scicluna Giusti – Vice-President
- Mr Jean-Marie Darmanin – Secretary General
- Inġ. Maurizio Cappello – Treasurer
- Mr Gaetano (k/a Tano) Bugelli – Public Relations Officer
- Inġ. Meriel Ann Borg – Activities Secretary
- Inġ. Ryan Grixti – International Affairs Secretary
- Inġ. Simon Abela – Membership Secretary
- Inġ. Johan Psaila – Policy Affairs Secretary
- Dr Inġ. Stefania Cristina – Education and Training Secretary
- Ms Steph Borg – Student Representative
This AGM saw the successful closure of the second term for Inġ. Malcolm Zammit following a successful four-year tenure as President.
The Chamber of Engineers thanked all the outgoing council members; Inġ. Malcolm Zammit, Inġ. Michelle Cortis, Inġ. Alex Tanti, Ms Jael Deguara, and outgoing Student Representative, Mr Ryan Grech, for their steadfast dedication, enthusiasm, and contributions in advancing the Chamber’s vision and the engineering profession.
“Together with our members and stakeholders, we remain committed to driving growth, implementing new initiatives and strengthening current endeavours for the benefit of engineers and the profession. We look forward to building on a strong foundation to further elevate the engineering profession,” the council said.
