René and Sue, the owners of Cent’Anni restaurant in Għargħur, have announced their retirement, marking the end of an era for the restaurant that has served patrons since its opening in 2014.

In an emotional Instagram post, René and Sue shared the news, expressing their gratitude for the support and memories that have defined their journey.

“11 memorable years after we opened Cent’Anni way back in 2014, the time has finally come to take a step back and retire gracefully from the business we love so much,” they wrote.

They credited their success to their loyal customers and the dedication of their staff, both past and present, stating, “we owe our success and are forever indebted to the countless regular customers as well as all dedicated staff, past and present, that helped us throughout this wonderful journey.”

Their last day at Cent’Anni will be on 31st January 2025. As they prepare to bid farewell, René and Sue are inviting patrons to visit the restaurant one final time.

“We look forward to hosting you for one last time in the coming weeks, auguring that what we built with such passion and love shall be continued by the future owners,” they added.
