Bank of Valletta has announced a series of changes within its senior leadership team, confirming that three Chief Officers will be stepping down in the coming months.
In a company announcement issued on Tuesday, the bank outlined the departures of its Chief Strategy, Transformation and Data Officer, its Chief Customer Experience Officer, and its Chief People and Culture Officer.
Chief Strategy, Transformation and Data Officer Ivo Camilleri will retire from the Bank with effect from 3rd April 2026, relinquishing his role on the same date.
Chief Customer Experience Officer Theodoros Papadopoulos will see his contract expire on 30th June 2026. The Bank stated that the contract will not be renewed by mutual agreement.
Meanwhile, Chief People and Culture Officer Ray Debattista is set to retire in the third quarter of 2026, at which point he will step down from his position.
BOV said it will communicate any further updates regarding its senior management “at the appropriate time” through company announcements.
It also noted that there are no matters concerning Mr Camilleri, Mr Papadopoulos and Mr Debattista that warrant disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.
Bank of Valletta expressed its appreciation to the outgoing Chief Officers for their “invaluable commitment and dedication to the bank’s success over the past years.”
