Ryan Gauci is celebrating the start of an exciting new phase in his long and varied career, that of General Manager at the Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa in Croatia.

Mr Gauci started his first job with the Hilton back in June 2007 as an apprentice in event planning. Fast forward 14 years, jobs at nine separate Hilton hotels in six different countries, he has now landed the much-coveted position of General Manager at the Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa.

He worked in various roles throughout his career with the Hilton, such as Front Office Manager, Director of Operations and Hotel Manager in Hilton hotels across the UK, Warsaw and Prague.

In a social media message, Mr Gauci remarked:

“It has been an amazing journey so far; making friends in many countries across the globe. My sincerest appreciation goes to many great leaders and mentors that have supported me in this journey; you know who you are!”
